1 star because this rom-com is (uncritically) about a neurotic straight man who struggles to support his gf’s ambition and queerness—the happy ending is that she quits her job, cuts ties with her ex gf, marries him, and embraces a trad-wife lifestyle while he becomes an english teacher for cops (ew LOL).
+1 star because as a fellow bi québécois woman with the last name ‘tremblay’ who is career oriented and dates these kinds of men, the feels i felt from this representation was (by design) unparalleled.
