Jesse Eisenberg and Kieran Culkin felt like they weren’t acting at all, just existing as these characters. Their dynamic was so natural, and the contrast between them—Benji, loud and full of life, and David, quiet and reserved—was entertaining to watch.
Kieran, you were hilarious, honest, and just totally yourself—I loved that. Congrats on the Oscar, it was well deserved. And Jesse, to write and direct something this raw and real is truly special. You captured all the messiness of life, how the people we love can also be a real pain sometimes. What a film.

Dang, I wish I had watched this in theaters, but wow—what a movie! I LOVED every second of it. It took me right back to my childhood, and I would’ve absolutely loved growing up with this. Finally getting to see an origin story was amazing, and they did it so well! The story was incredible, the comedy was pure gold, and the voice actors absolutely ate!
