What a movie. What a fantastic fucking movie.
I was entranced from the very beginning to the very end. Spine often erect, sitting up straight.
The director understood something so rare. The essence of true eroticism. I can't believe it. Very briefly was it shown but its glory was firmly beheld.
It was both chaotic and coherent, a hugely skillful narrative.
I cannot recommend this movie enough.
Best movie I've seen in a very long time.
But somehow I was the only person clapping at the end...

Reminded me of "Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!!", albeit with quite some more spectacular drama.
I feel that the spectre of real trauma hung behind the story of this movie. It felt as though the writer flung various aspects of herself into the two main characters, rather than commenting on real experiences given my limited understanding of her history. She is a mangaka with a fine art education iirc.
