two stars is very generous of me. what an underwhelming film. too many long ass dialogues for no reason. the only part i thoroughly enjoyed was bill kicking the shit out of richard.

kelsey asbille and finn wittrock,i forgive you. love you both as actors but my god never do a movie like this (boring) ever again. kelsey asbille as a final girl, chefs kiss. finn wittrock as a serial killer, perfection. no more of this though pls and ty <3

and to whomever chose that version of lesley gore’s incredible song, kindly never do that again.

“we are who we choose to be. now choose”

man this really was the movie of the decade. the nostalgia i got from watching this was everything. the graphics were incredible, the villain origin story was solid and the rivalry between spider man and goblin was impeccable writing. tobey maguire will always be the best spider man. the sense of heroism and heart he displays is what every kid wants in their hero.

willem dafoe never disappoints, ily smash

“sure you will kid. you know good-byes aren’t forever.”
    “then good-bye charlie.”

sitting here at 23, re-watching this movie on vhs, sobbing just as hard as i did when i was a child.
