"Do you wanna go watch inside out 2?"
"Do I want to cry for approximately 96 minutes?.........yes"
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Cannot believe I stumbled upon an Amanda Bynes movie I hadn't seen yet, let alone THIS one on my first ever flight to London.
I apologize to nearby passengers who may be reading because I laughed, I cried, and I literally whooped when the (cliche but well-done) evil fiancee got what she had coming.
A comfort comedy with parallels to Parent Trap, accurate depictions of UK/US stereotypes, and of course a perfect ending to make your heart go mushy.
Sadie, if you're reading this and haven't seen all of the 2000's Amanda Bynes movies, consider it your new assignment 🤓
All it took for the evil magician to leave Frosty alone was a threat from Santa??
Coward.
I'm not sure what was harder to watch: the aggressively misogynystic dialogue or the cannibalistic implications throughout. Despite the slightly disappointing ambiguous ending, I still enjoyed the journey of questioning reality, the talent of all actors involved, and Bale's insane remarks that were either misheard or went unnoticed completely.
Also: Christian Bale's 🍑🤪
Sadie, if you're reading this, you are WAY too young to watch this movie!!
