This was fine! Shadow is fantastic, and I like the little callouts to the games like the victory jingle and the Chao Garden, but this felt way too fast paced, and a lot of the humor fell flat for me and circled back hard into 'dumb kids movie' territory for me, more so than the previous entries (seriously, what the fuck was that scene that Eggman gets reintroduced in, that legitimate made me close my eyes in the theatre).

Pretty much the only negative thing I have to say about this is that it was trying to establish lots of worldbuilding related to the characters' motivations and pasts but they just didn't have the space for it in the runtime without it messing up the pacing. It feels a little bit crammed as a result, and maybe it had an extra 10 or 20 minutes or so to establish that stuff, that aspect of the movie could've been absolutely awesome. Otherwise, really good movie.
