this is not my Alex. this is not my Henry. this is not the beautiful love story I loved in the book. where the fuck is Alex’s coming in/out journey? where’s the bi awakening? the book I remember reading wasn’t only made of sex scenes weirdly strung together by a quick pacing that doesn’t even show any development in the plot or in the characters’ relationship. fuck reducing beautiful queer stories to sex scenes and relationships made impossible by homophobia.
