Under the Silver Lake 2018
In all honesty, I’ve only seen this once and didn’t get it but it for sure deserves a rewatch. At some point. The problem is I am logging this months after watching it and I don’t recall enjoying (or disliking) it or really remember anything more worthy. I remember relating to whatever the main conflict was or who the character was but not much more detail than that. Unfortunately it doesn’t deserve a timely rewatch…

The Killer 2023
I have never welcomed well worn assassin cliches more than while watching this. For a film with so much voice over narration, the screenplay could have been a little more clever. It should have cut a little deeper. Or at least sounded like that.
But watching a Fincher movie has always been enjoyable if for nothing else the look. A few solid shots that stuck with me for a bit.
