Another enjoyable entry in the series. I think I preferred Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit (2005), but since I've watched all of the Wallace & Gromit films in just the last week or so, it might not be fair to say that. It's definitely formulaic, but that's part of the charm, I think. I liked that it was a sequel of sorts to The Wrong Trousers. It looked great, and it was funny, and I hope it's not the last we see of these two.

Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit 2005
I was always aware of Wallace & Gromit growing up, but for whatever reason, I never watched any. I've just begun rectifying that, watching the short films and now this. It was delightful. Lots of typically wacky sight gags and fun wordplay, making it appealing to all ages. There was a surprising amount of sexual innuendo in there too. The animation is great, and always impressive. Cute, funny, and comforting - I had a good time.

A Brighter Summer Day 1991
I'd heard this was a great coming-of-age movie, so I decided to check it out, but it didn't really work for me. Maybe I'm just stupid, but I had trouble keeping up with all the different characters and all their relationships and the gangs and all that. In any case, I didn't really care about the characters, which made it hard to care about the movie. Add to that the fact that it's a 4-hour movie... I found a lot…

A History of Violence 2005
I was immensely disappointed. It seems to be a pretty well-received film but, for the life of me, I cannot figure out why. The story wasn't necessarily bad but it was executed horribly. The dialogue was absolutely cliché-ridden & unimaginative. The actors' performances were totally wooden & unrealistic. The violence as well as the nudity/sex scenes were so awfully gratuitous. The whole thing was quite cringe-worthy, to be honest. What I find most odd is that David Cronenberg is a great director!
