Perhaps my favorite scene was when Tobias was proposing and couldn’t read his already prepared lines. Almut had to read in silence while tears were pooling up her eyes. It was a silent moment but it was sure.
Great acting but I could argue with the script and the timeline. That gas station scene should be duly recognized PERIOD.

mundane is what this movie is. it’s slow and calm; so much so that I was fighting sleepiness before it ended. it’s such a beautiful beautiful movie to look at, plus i’m the biggest fan of conversations and people that you meet that just make sense (even if it doesn’t).
