this is a story that was crafted specifically for me — clone chicanery, an actual important het relationship with a man that simps for his amazing and talented girlfriend, good acting, and also robert pattinson. it can be hard to pull off subtle differences when you're playing clones, but he does it well. shout out to naomi ackie too, she was the goat of the film for me :)

So cool that I finally managed to watch this. Everything in this movie was beautifully made — the cinematography is fantastic, the writing rings true to reality, and the acting!!! Marian Rivera is a treasure. I also really appreciate the message; our teachers, farmers, laborers, and the queer community are all important for this country.
This is an important film that is much needed for the people of today. Everyone should rally together for the change we want to see in our world. I am grateful that this film was made.

Godzilla Minus One 2023
Godzilla was a delightful terror in this film. Those scenes where he charged his heat ray actually made me fear for the characters, which is kinda rare for me in movies like this 😅 anyway the human drama of it all is actually really solid. And the effects are so AAAAHHHHHH. Like this is amazing work for a 15m budget!

this movie is really creative and immersive, the spooks aren't on the nose and a coherent story from start to finish. i really liked the ending too. but you know what i didn't like? the use of AI to create those images in between the breaks. it's not that hard to hire a couple graphic designers to do those, right? as a viewer, i am denouncing the use of AI of any kind in our art, and this would honestly be 5 stars without it. excellent movie, but that was really the worst thing about it. it's 3 images a professional would've done easily.
