  Son of Dracula 1943

  This scratched my Universal Monster itch for the moment. Although very non-menacing, I thought Lon Chaney Jr. was a likeable Dracula. (...dude looks like Walter Matthau)
  I agree with some of youse, that shot of the vampire hovering through the swamp was pretty cool.
  This was overall a worthy sequel.

  If there's a hell, it's crowded with these happy little villagers with their bavarian costumes singing Faroli Farolo for all eternity.
  Although not very polite, Lon Chaney Jr. was right to give them flack.

  This said, let's give a warm round of applause for those opening credits, those castle interiors, those nice miniatures, and once again,
  that awesome mad-scientist electrical lab equipment that had me cheering alone at home in my underwear.
