this film lives on my mind rent free, in the way that this movie feels very intimate. It's metaphors are metaphors while being cartoonishly and craftily shoved into your face. My mother watched the film before I did, and she told me she loved it, my mother who I thought would never understand the things I like suddenly shared a love towards this film. Then, it clicked to me that another interpretation of this is a mother daughter relationship, I do wish to more substance filled discussion with my mother.

it's hyper reality and very cartoonish in the best way possible, I would recommend this to anyone that is not afraid of gore. love it, 2 hrs movie that doesn't feel like dragging too long. it reinvigorates my love for cinema. absolutely

I love this movie. is it perfect? not really. but it struck a personal itch of mine. A quirk if you may, I once saw clips of this movie on a youtube channel dedicated for putting songs on movie clips. This movie makes me nostalgic for a time I wasn't even born yet, definitely a comfort movie of mine, and one song in particular always gets me in a vibe. If this movie was a color palette, it would be beige, dark red, dark blue, and a rather soft off white.
