  So violently 90s Britain its almost unbearable, but is able to just about miss the cut-off and instead be incredibly in-your-face without really any negatives. Aggressively colourful and wacky, Human Traffic seems completely ridiculous at times but also perfectly understandable for those who have enjoyed a slight bender or two. Surface level and bizarre like the drugs it shows, but unmistakably fun; this film hits the spot better than any greasy, post-night-out kebab ever could.

  Although in the name, Peter Weir’s ‘Picnic at Hanging Rock’ doesn’t have much to do with Hanging Rock. It took me until around 2/3rds of the film to realise that, really, this film is about the characters surrounding the mystery. The film attempts to focus on what it is like to be linked to those that go missing in strange cases like the one shown.
