Just an absolute marvel in every way! From the plot to the characters to the effects to the costumes to the score to the 4th wall breaks to the COLOR!!! This is so goddamn beautiful, I just wish I had watched a better print of it. I am just stunned that this was made in 1946, this puts decades of movies to shame. So unique and extravagant, i can’t believe this isn’t on the level of The Wizard of Oz.

About Time 2013
Very well done, combines two of my favorite genres (rom-com and time travel) into a beautiful movie about loving life and I think that is one of the most important messages out there. Lots of sad and happy tears right now. Had to call my parents and tell them how much I love them.

This movies refusal to actually make a political statement is almost maddening at points. Besides the obvious reshoots and ADR, this movie isn’t awful, Mackie is able to hold up the film well and the majority of the action scenes are pretty enjoyable.
