Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas 1998
It was ok. Premise of the story: they got high. Real high. Not much commentary-just got high. It works in short bursts, and the segmented structure-flashing back and forth between events before cutting to the present worked for me. Depp's jumpy, nervous energy and Benicio's wild, Tasmanian devil vibe were fun to see. But over two hours, the chaos drags. The visuals pull you into the binge, but it wears thin over time
