  ah yes i think i remember watching this movie and i watched it to the end but man i dont know why i even started. why u make those pirate ships fly? and a lot of betrayal i remember but who is his brother again!?! will there be a sequel i dont know for sure but somebody wake me up

  I just wanted to rewatch Pinocchio. Good thing I'm an idiot and searched Netflix instead of Disney+. At first glance I was sceptical but I found myself quickly immersed in Guillermo del Toro's magic. I don't know how close it is to the original but I do not care. Great imagery, the pine cone, the angelic creatures. Death presented in an honest way. I will still rewatch the original sometime soon, but I love the movie as the movie it is ;)

  This may be a good movie, but my god just cut to the chase man. Watching felt like doing homework. Very static shots throughout, little movement, no action. It was just long and boring with enough suspense to keep you watching. Interesting and touching enough to make it “good”.
