I was told this movie is similar to Nightcrawler, which I found to be half-true. Definitely a slower watch and less suspenseful. However I like how they really dive deep into the psyche of the abductor, something that Prisoners does not do. And I was absolutely not prepared for how this film was going to end.

This movie has few great scenes and very excellent cinematography, however I felt that it was a little disappointing. The acting is not great and the plot is extremely forced; the whole premise of the movie has holes in it too. If anyone else watches this, let me know what you think.

Zodiac 2007
Certainly had the acting, writing and soundtrack potential to be a 5/5. My only complaint is that they should’ve either made the whole film shorter or explored some other aspect of the investigation. The beginning is very captivating and I also enjoy the ending, but as the movie goes on, I felt like it was pretty repetitive. Shoutout Lamb for the rec.
