Absolutely bonkers. If Exorcist III and The Dark Half and the giallo genre decided to have a welcome threesome, this would be the offspring.
The "punk" version of the first film. Director Mary Lambert and writer Richard Outten were allowed to be unleashed from the mythology of the first film and do their own thing, and it is splendid. I'm kinda miffed that the Scream Factory SE wasn't able to include interviews with Clancy Brown or Anthony Edwards, but Edward Furlong behaving twitchy and grasping his lighter while rambling, I'll take it.
