Michael, get yourself a good screenwriter and fire your editor, cause there are beautiful shots in this, in glorious IMAX colour, and you slice them up into unrecognizable slush. What use are your insane 90-120 set-ups per shooting day, when we don't get to savor them. Look, how they massacred my Bay.

Nicht unbedingt ein guter FILM, aber ein richtiger MOVIE. Technische Avantgarde, narrativer Throwback. Absolut immersiv, so unglaublich atemberaubend immersiv, dass ich ihm alle Schwächen verzeihe. Großes, großes Plus: Will nicht hip und jugendlich sein, will nicht aktuell sein. Der Film glaubt an sich, er hat seine Weltsicht und seine Werte. Und das wird durchgehalten. Ohne Zynismus, ohne Relativierung, ohne Zwinkern in Richtung Publikum. Der Film muss sich uns nicht annähern, weil 3D und 48fps nicht als Gimmick sondern als handwerklich…
