Oppenheimer 2023
Oppenheimer surprised me in several ways, particularly for its framing and the captivating yet unsettling ending that left a lasting impression. From my perspective, the film boldly undertakes a remarkably neutral stance, especially considering the sensitive historical material it covers. It doesn't really shy away from casting the United States in a critical light, a move I didn’t really expect and which adds to its authenticity and depth. This approach and it’s other creative choices like it’s profound ending made it very a haunting yet enlightening experience to me.
