Read the books when I was about 12 and thought for old times sake should watch the movie... spoiler it was really bad. It was so bad that I enjoyed it though. A lot of the acting was terrible, same with some of the greenscreens, and the use of popular songs made me cringe. But I do love to humor my inner child and watch movies that would please 12 year old me. So if your a tween girl, or like to humor your 12 yr old self u might just enjoy this movie. Crappyness and all.

20th Century Girl 2022
I decided to watch this movie thinking it would be a cute teen romance movie before bed. Didn't expect to spend the last 30 minutes bawling my eyes out! But as much as it was very sad, and hard to watch at times from all the second hand embarrassment... it tugged the heart strings in all the right ways, and was such a gorgeous depiction of first love. Totally would recommend this movie. Especially for anyone looking to watch a movie that is a little nostalgic. And wouldn't mind revisiting those feelings of a teen romance. Heartbreak and all.
