  Listen, it ain't subtle. But neither is the constant unrelenting barrage of abhorrent and nonsensical far right vomit that people keep eating up. So, for me, not an issue here. Spoonfeed away. Maybe not everything has to be too clever for it's own good in our current climate.

  Hilarious, messy, and simultaneously laser-focused amid the chaos with a grounded human heart.

  Great film.

  Crash transcends the fundamentals of traditional storytelling.

  It's not unheard of for stories to opt for more a more experimental approach, but I felt as though Crash went the extra mile (per hour). From Its fever dream atmosphere, to its almost liquid-like meandering narrative nature, this viewing experience was like going to a provocative exhibition.

  And that's not a criticism.

  I spent a good chunk of the runtime digging into the central metaphor of the film. The *excuse my pun*…

  An incredibly and meticulously balanced introspection equal parts devastating and hopeful. Not to be dramatic, but I'm lost for words, inspired, and sincerly grateful for this piece of work. Simply perfect. I'm in a state of genuine regret that its taken me this long to watch this. If you identify with that last sentence, don't be me of two hours ago, be me of the present. He's a better person.
