moana is a hard movie to follow up. the music & villain in this one doesn’t come close. the new characters are like-able but there’s not really enough depth to get super attached to them, besides moana’s little sister who made me wanna cry every time she was onscreen. however, despite it’s flaws, imo the big crescendo was beautifully done & intense enough to earn it the title of a good movie. also the overall message of people needing each other to survive is a beautiful one and beautifully conveyed.

most anti-war war movie i have ever seen. people calling this war propaganda lack media literacy.
“What would they say about me? ‘He died in a place he didn't need to be, in a battle over something he doesn't understand in a country that meant nothing to him.’”
^THAT is the story of so many soldiers, putting their lives on the line for a country run by mfs who will sit back and watch them die.
not every movie that depicts war is war propaganda. this one least of all.
