I rewatched this film and immediately snapped my La La Land Blu-ray in half. La La Land could never be this funny. Fantastic techs and cast but the plot is so cliché I don't even know if it's good or bad anymore. It features some of the most predictable scripts—ones I'd love to read out loud faithfully, dramatically at 11:59 p.m. in the living room.

She Is Conann 2023
This is why we can trust French cinema forever. Conann is an immensely evil, gory, and cult masterpiece. Carnival of the Wasteland. The Legend of Six Reincarnations. Normal logic doesn't apply to this whimsical, fashionable, nefarious, and totally unpredictable story. Underneath the constant transformation between black & white and colour is the tale of chaotic, junk, and cutting-edge aesthetics beyond our times. It’s also a brilliant irony about money worship. It was so much for my taste that I watched it all with a grin. Easily the best movie ever.

Fight or Flight 2024
Another average-rated movie I absolutely love. It got that Kung Fu Hustle spirit—totally unhinged fun, crazy creative fight scenes, and endless unserious funny moments. It’s not perfect but the low-budget, bloodier and punchier Bullet Train has this kind of magic that just pulls me in. You can really feel the director’s love for filmmaking in the way he shoot it. I share that same vision.

Just why don’t you film porn instead, lmao
I’ve seen plenty of NC-17 films but none of them triggered me like this. It’s the most disrespectful and offensive movie I’ve ever seen. If you love watching porn in movies, this is for you. She is basically a sex toy and constantly manipulated by various men.

The Brutalist 2024
Today, we cry for cinema.
70mm film captures the grandeur and majestic architecture shaped by the architect’s vision, seamlessly blending the essence of celluloid with the timeless weight of history. It is precisely films like this that remind us of the indomitable power of cinema.
From the intricate interplay of cinematography and scriptwriting, to the flawless music composition and impeccable directing, every aspect of The Brutalist converges with such perfection that each moment is capable of moving me to tears.…
