  This movie thinks it is clever and meaningful but is just a bland and uninspired critique of the ultra rich. It had the potential to actually explore how gender and race are conntected to class. But Östlund only plays at these interesting topics but then drops them as fast as possible.   Rewatched this shortly after watching the original.... oof! I was blown away by this film when I watched it the first time but this rewatch was painful. There were moments when I physically cringed. Luv's spinning kicks, her *girlboss-dronestriking" the scavengers of San Diego with her Google Glasses™ while getting a laser manicure, her textbook villain line when she crushes the USB stick girlfriend. Instead of the complex villain she could have been, she gets reduced to a mere henchman…
