I remember watching this movie many times as a young kid. Watching it now I see and understand smaller details that make me appreciate this artwork so much more. Claymation is insane amounts of work, but boy does it pay off. The movie's sets and characters are so beautiful made that they alone can incite emotions of abandonment, curiosity, hope, wonder, skepticism, fear, and other uncomfortable feelings. Coraline is an all time favorite of mine and I hope you don't find it too scary to give it a full watch!
