This comes nowhere near the first but it’s still a solid watch. The sight of Rome, the animals, and the grandeur of the colosseum were all perhaps even better than the first and for that I am very pleased; I loved the rhino fight, and even more I loved the naval fight. The story just isn’t quite as compelling as the first and you really can’t catch the feeling of seeing the original gladiator movie, but I think they did a good job trying and I’m glad they gave it a go, this style of movie is my shit.

I understand why this movie is so hyped right now, it’s great. Stop and smell the roses! Great action sequences, great story, great voice acting, and incredible animation.
