•Visually striking, with beautifully morose color scaling and eerie cinematography.
• The shot composition was impressive an unsettling
• However, the story felt overly simplistic, with buildup that led to nothing substantial. (Saw it with my roommate and he literally fell asleep)
• I went in knowing little about the original material, but even with fresh eyes, it didn’t feel like it had much depth.
• Despite all its potential, it never cut through the surface to offer something more layered.
• Compared to other horror films I’ve seen, Nosferatu doesn’t hold up—it looks the part but lacks the weight to make it truly memorable.
-A gripping and disconcerting perspective on the mistreatment of women during a not-so-distant time period.
-The movie’s realism is chilling
-Not much replay value to be honest.
-I’m really pleased with how Anna approached this film as a director. It’s the type of movie I love watching—engaging, thought-provoking, and powerful.
-Easily my favorite movie of 2024
-Came out of nowhere and blew me away (Went in blindly). Bold from the start, with a casual yet poignant approach to difficult themes.
-Finally, comedy that hit just right for me. The humor was sharp and smart.
-The early New York setting added the perfect layer of familiarity.
-The final scene was everything I’d hoped for—satisfying, yet reflective of how unfulfilling Anora’s lifestyle is. A brilliant play on the cyclical energy that many women like her experience.
-Mikey Madison is definitely someone I’ll be following more closely after this one.
-couldn’t quite understand the reasoning for the plot line or how it was even found.
-animation was absolutely stunning and all of the vibrant colors were as beautiful as they were in the first movie
-love the message, disney continues to make their movies more and more inclusive with subtle changes which i really appreciate.
-most of all just felt random and a little bit of a repeat of the first movie :/ (with worse songs oops)
