  Opening Night 1977

  Gena Rowlands. I don't even know what to say, my emotions are everywhere and I don't know why I cried so much. Masterpiece, I am going to be so annoying about it. I LOVE MOVIES <3 I will now say I think I liked it more than Husbands - which is saying something because that was THE movie for me for a while.

  Also the Peter Falk cameo <3 
  I have something to think about with Virgina being Gena Rowlands' 'real name' and her and John being married and what this says about them and a plethora of other things but that's for later :)

  Journey's End 1930

  Colin Clive's performance is such a standout, he's so good. It is so horribly sad that his life was so ravaged by alcoholism and cut so terribly short. 

  The copy that is available to watch, isn't the best which is kind of detrimental to the scenes where they go over the top, because obvious effort and work has been put into it BUT I CAN HARDLY SEE ITTTTTTTT. Which is really a shame because some photos that exist of the…

  Little bit of a crush on robert donat, an okay adaptation, truth be told i feel it is a book too impossibly ridiculous to do justice. (i say this out of love, its one of my favourite books of all time)
