Milla Jovovich in a film that isn't inspired by a video game? Impossible (except The Fifth Element....in that case they made a video game out of that film)
Honestly, it was an interesting idea to take inspiration from this "myth" but the parts that i remember as creepy were the parallel scenes. Rebuilding a camera footage (that was already creepy) in a film and showing both scenes togheter was intriguing and scary.....JUST TO RUIN EVERYTHING IN THE ENDING WHERE THEY TELL YOU THAT EVEN THE CAMERA FOOTAGES WERE MADE DURING THE FILMING. And this is what differentiates this film from a film like "The Conjuring".
