“Our entire life is a punishment.”

The movie’s a bit disappointing? Like its still good and funny as shit but it isnt at the usual quality of Bong Joon Ho’s previous films. The shots are fun and exciting, the directing is obviously bong joon ho but I think it lacks the usual framing from his previous films and I didnt find the first half of the movie that funny.

Robert Pattinson is the best part of the movie his voice…

“Then why do you draw, Fujino?”

Read the one shot back when it came out snd cried like a bitch and finally got around to watch the movie and cried again like a bitch. Although it is a relatively short story and at such a short pace it uses imagery like a motherfucker, everything is done so succinctly and with a reason. Why does one create art, why do we do the things we do and how it affects others…

Will be doing a full review at the end of the season but damn what a fucking fantastic first episode. Just pure cinema, that shit dragged me in INSTANTLY. By far Colin Farrell is the best part of the episode, I haven't laughed that much watching a series in a longtime. Fantastic cinematography and editing, banger fuckin soundtrack. Everything just damn perfect. Simultaneously intense and comedic, horrifying yet funny. Just so so damn fun.

    “This is the greatest show!”

A movie with amazing set designs, stunning make up and costumes, impeccable lighting and cinematography, beautiful musical numbers, andddd a god awful script.

Its pretty obvious that the people who made this genuinely gave a shit, everything is built with such love. It’s not afraid to be corny, to be naive, to show emotion and to show that they care fully. But man does this movie suffer so a lot from the heavily romanticized story…
