This is the study of an existential crisis, a man trying to cope with the fact that he is not allowed to do the very thing that gives meaning to his life. Knowing Panahi's other work, it's always a good idea to doubt how *real* any of this is and whether some parts were scripted or not, but at its core it's a really interesting exploration of a certain mood.
