  The movie’s main theme/message, that Oppenheimer is weighed down by the magnitude of “his” invention, loses its footing. Instead, the movie meanders between underdeveloped relationship drama, political drama, and pseudo-poetic lines (often unintentionally funny) explaining physics concepts through fanciful metaphor. It had its moments, don’t get me wrong.
