This film demonstrates Tim Burton's style as a film maker beautifully, fully capturing Burton's preferences in darker, cooler themed color palettes, as well as Gothic characters and settings. Burton went above and beyond to create a film that captures viewers through its exciting soundtrack (in a similar fashion to his other work Nightmare Before Christmas) and stuns his audience with his streak of darker love stories told through the perspective of a tall and thin male protagonist struggling with his identity and place in the world (yes, again referring to Nightmare Before Christmas).

An amazing film - not only does it share the history of musical icons in a visually capturing presentation, it connects emotionally through the perspective of Freddie Mercury, and comments on social issues (like LGBTQIA rights) through Mercury's life experiences. The final product combines pop culture, personal connection, and quality cinematography to make a great film.
