Weird watching a movie released two months before I was born - evokes 2000s nostalgia while trying to create 80s nostalgia. Music was nearly great. Overall heartwarming, gained a whole extra star in the second half.

I really have no clue why they hate her (or the baby??? (or Robert Pattinson???) so much.

Really enjoyed, despite being 3 hours it was well worth it and for the most part didn't drag. Insightfully portrays Oppenheimer's life and work while keeping me gripped, eager to follow the mostly linear storyline. However, I did feel the excessive focus on the disjointed scenes depicting the hearings of Oppenheimer and Strauss could have been less drawn out. Nevertheless, these non-linear parts nicely served to recount the narrative, build tension and pull it all together. Music perfectly complimented both the tone and subject matter of the film. Cinematography also achieved this, incorporating appropriate abstract elements which built a greater understanding.
