Gladiator II 2024
Fun and exciting flick. Cool dual plot of Denzel Washington and Paul Mescal both making their rise through the ranks, Denzel for power and Paul for revenge. The evil emperors are great, especially the drunkard who makes his monkey Dundis second in command. The fights and the setting itself are both visually stunning.
Predictably, the most memorable parts of the movies are the scenes in the arenas. There's something pretty epic about taking dangerous animals, roiding them up, and sending them out to fight, and therein lies the rub for this movie.

Nosferatu 2024
Cool remake of the original Nosferatu. This talkie version’s most impactful element is the portrayal of Orlok/Nosferatu. The guy is so disgusting, with a blend of human features, including an unimpressive head of hair but healthy mustache, and inhuman qualities, including his size and nocturnality, along with a crazy voice.
Willem Dafoe is awesome, adding a sense of weirdness/madness that fits in a society concerned with curses and black magic.
Serves more to entertain than terrify, though has some good jump scares and gross scenes
