Normal People, a title that seemingly juxtaposes a story filled with moments that feel so completely out of the ordinary. We watch as two people drift in and out of one another's lives. Like the tides of the ocean, you know the love is there, it just hasn't returned to its highest point.

I watched the lives of two people as they transitioned from adolescents to young adults. Peering into intimate conversations and sexual encounters as if I was infringing…

Now this…this is cinema. My friend referred to this as one of the greatest third acts of all time and I have to agree 100%. I came into this movie not truly knowing what to expect which made it all the more special in the end. It was almost as good as La La Land...wait, no sorry this was far superior in every way.

I had to watch this in 3 parts because it’s exam week, but wow does this thing have one of the best scores ever. So many uniquely beautiful moments between Eastwood and other random characters. So many well-shot scenes. I think I got a bit lost in the all-over-the-placeness of it all, so I couldn’t slide it that perfect 5 stars.

One of those cases where someone would say “a movie like this couldn’t be made today” and it wouldn’t be obnoxious

    Breathtaking. Engaging. Heartbreaking.

Lesbians rock in almost every movie from the 80s/90s and I’m here for it.

In case you were curious, 2Pac’s song with the same title has an equally badass intro:

    [Intro]
“Street Science, you’re on the air. What do you feel when you hear a record like 2Pac’s new one?”
    “I love 2Pac’s new record.”
    “Right,…

Opening night. IMAX 3D. Watching with my favorite people. Leaving the theater at 3:30 AM. Honestly nothing more I could ask for in life. Y’all already know how I feel about Pandora. Ocean scenes were amazing.

My craziest theater experience ever outlined below:

We walk in and sit down before watching a bunch of Neon trailers. The movie starts in a super art house way before we are introduced to a world where a satanic serial killer is on the loose.

Out go two patrons who return with an usher who threatens to kick out kids who are misbehaving. A grown woman proceeds to scream before the usher returns with reinforcements who escort the woman out…
