  One of the best WWII films I’ve ever seen in that it recognizes the war and the proceeding decades were all about the rise of communism. It truly captures the horror of what goes into creating both the most deadly weapon on earth and how easy it is for rich white men to decide to murder thousands from fine mahogany rooms. A much weirder film than anticipated, in that it grapples with human emotions and guilt in a deeply inhumane way, but beautiful and effective because of those choices.
