so you’ve basically got a black mirror concept approached in the campiest way possible. dialogue is ridiculous and parodies so many tropes. once you realise what you’re getting it’s fun af and you can’t look away.
it’s gross. it’s nasty. and that’s the point and it’s just fun. god forbid you go to the cinema to be ENTERTAINED. not everything has to move you to tears. let me enjoy this movie that feels like an x rated barbie film.

beautifully touches on themes of grief and resentment in a realistic way. pacing is steady, one of those films where not much happens, yet the dialogue and relationship between the two leads is so captivating to watch. beautiful motifs in constantly referencing ‘waiting for godot’ — which ties in with the lead character’s feeling of constantly waiting for nothing, and being let down by their own expectations.
