I love a good gothic romance horror film. Let’s give it up to Lily-Rose Depp!! She did amazing playing her character and performance was impressive. The cinematography was great; I loved the use of shadows and mirrors that Robert Eggers seem to use a lot of throughout this film. The only thing ima say is that this film did feel like it dragged in certain areas and could have definitely been cut shorter.

The first 20 min of this movie had me intrigued and in suspense. Then it just went downhill from there. The only part of the film that had me locked in was when the father starts itching his scab off and bitting his arm, I love a good body horror scene!! Honestly this movie could of been good and had so much potential. It just needed a better storyline.
