As with other Nolan films I find the quick cutting a fast pacing of the movie with its jumping back and forth constantly very disjointed and annoying. There is little in the way of dramatic building and thoughtful cinematic storytelling. As with Dunkirk there were some good scenes but I think this movie is highly overrated. The methodology used in Memento in an interesting way because of the short term memory was interesting, but the editorial cutting in this movie is just too much work for the movie to be enjoyed and it doesn’t serve the story well.
