I swear people glaze Ghibli because of nostalgia. This shit was NOT life changing in any way. I shouldn’t have to go to Google to understand a movie. Sorry. It’s supposed to be entertainment, not a detective mission. And thats saying a lot because I fuck with mystery heavy. This shit is just confusing. Okay now that I got that out of the way, this movie is truly beautiful (which does not necessarily mean it’s a great movie!!!). I’ve seen…

I’ll be honest, it didn’t live up to the hype for me. The character portrayals in this movie were great. Heath Ledger is one of a kind, Christian Bale is fantastic, Gary Oldman of course was great, and Harvey Dent actor who I don’t know was also tremendous. This movie was very confusing and also a mindfuck, but once I started understanding it, the story was pretty good. Jack Nicholson is a tremendous actor. Weird ass ending that’s for sure

This movie was really good. The acting by Kirk Douglas was so impressive. Every single scene he was in, I was captivated by his performance. The drive of a man avenging the death of his wife is so hard to portray, but he did it so well. The quote “in 40 years, the weeds on your grave will grow just as pretty as the weeds on mine” has stuck with me and I think about it weekly.
