Jack Quaid has made a career out of playing the lovable loser, and Companion is no exception.

This movie does a great job of normalizing where technology is going and implementing it within the context of everyday life.

Companion is a fun movie, thought pretty straight forward, plot wise. You can almost see the twists and turns, but the on-screen interactions between the characters make it fun to lean into.

Sophie Thatcher shows a high level of character diversity,…

This foreign animated film is visually stunning and paced very well. Here, you will find no quirky animated characters or celebrity voices to lead the way.

Instead, you will find the interaction between animals, and life and death at every turn.

The score and pacing are enthralling, and the only voices are those of the featured animals. The animals match their real life traits and it is interesting to watch how they interact, mistrust, and eventually learn to trust and…

What a strange roller coaster of a ride. First off, the actors give heartfelt performances, though they’re sometimes misplaced within the context of the story. The buildup of tension sometimes just goes on and on, without a payoff. Also, what seems to be dis conjoined plots, eventually finds a way to connect, but not before its share of “Tyler Durden-esque” alcohol and drug fueled hallucinations.

Besides the performances, the soundtrack included plenty of period pieces that helped to build scenes.

Overall, a very interesting and often enjoyable series.

A24’s Civil War is a tense and gritty ride, start to finish. Pacing and acting are both solid, and the plot doesn’t let up on a worst case scenario for our actual country. The movie was as enjoyable as a plot for a fallen county in disarray can possibly be. I recommend watching this with a proper sound system, as it leads to the intensity of the action.
