A really lovely movie about the complicated nature of love, told through the lens of the characters. There's a lot going on: friendship, love, happiness, sadness, regret, and much more. A very deserving nominee for Best Picture.

American Fiction 2023
Jeffrey Wright is one of those actors I'm always happy to see show up in a movie. Often, it's in a supporting role. Here, it's as the lead — and as usual, he's great. The supporting cast is phenomenal, and there are some legitimate LOL moments throughout. It's a movie that I think will be rewatchable for years to come.
