Smile 2022
Though Smile seems to be heavily inspired by the amazing film "It Follows (2014)" , it is still a genuine horror flick which actually takes itself seriously, and makes you really uncomfortable. Especially the background music and sound effects are so great. Probably the best, weirdest and apt background music for a horror movie. It has a few jump scares like any typical horror movie, but more than that, it scares you much more with the slow build up of tense and uncomfortable moments. A must watch for any horror fan!
