Dreyer was a rock hard, deep filmmaker, taking the medium far beyond known borders to tell a story, and so with this torture flick. Psychedelic at times.

The Neon Demon 2016
Art house is not dead! Be warned though, this is nightmarishly sick (that feverish kind of dream where you wonder what the hell Keanu Reeves is doing there, as some filthy supporting character way down some dead end motel). That it's so handsome good looking (not the least the soundtrack) makes it even more disturbing.
