Easily the best looking special I’ve seen, and the camera work is pretty good too (it’s a joke about how Jerrod Carmichael looks good in this and so does the camera work)

Amadeus 1984
Second time watching, first time was in 7th grade music class (shoutout Ms. Sanchez) and I remember thinking it was good but also I was really dumb back then. Now I am really smart, but I didn't remember anything about the plot, so this felt like a first time watch (but it wasn't, ha!), and this movie is excellent on every level. I also watched it with Erik who is a great hang. 5/5.

First half perfect, second half what are we doing guys. Soooo many good compelling elements that they proceed to absolutely fumble the bag with at the ending. Breathtakingly shot and maybe the best credits I’ve seen in a film. I’m mad at how good Adrien Brody’s performance was for us to not stay with him more during the second half. Also the niece character also plays her own daughter when she’s older like surely not a single other actor would’ve been able to stand in dumbass fuckin movie I wanted to love way more. Still listening to the score on the way home.
