They're was a lot of tension through that whole movie! Ending felt a little abrupt though. I don't know if it was my wife's anxiety constantly getting up off the chair and jumping up and down or the film but it was tense as shit from the start. The random moment near the end where they all kneel down and say the lord's prayer was cringe.

Mad Max: Fury Road 2015
Awesome film! Well worth a watch. I'd suggest watching in 2D though... It's sooooo visually stimulating that I think 3D would be way too much. I saw it in 2D and my eyes were really hurting by the end.
Back to the film though. I haven't seen any other the other Mad Max films and this one stands alone quite nicely. It's a visual feast, really imaginative. Plus anything that gets the MRA a little upset is worth watching.

I do love Wes Anderson's style. His films are so weirdly funny and this one doesn't disappoint. That with his unique shooting style makes it both beautiful and entertaining. So much symmetries! If you're looking for something kinda weird but not too crazy arthouse it's boring - check it out. Or just check it out anyway. Either way works.
