Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 2010
Cannot for the life of me see how some people have this as their least favourite. Serves as a perfect setup for part 2 and has some amazing sequences. Probably my 4th favourite behind Azkaban, DH pt2, and goblet of fire.

A Man Escaped 1956
Amazing. Truly amazing.
I usually find movies made before 1960 either feel very slow, outdated, or just not very engaging. However, every scene in this film serves a clear purpose, avoiding the need for some convenient or "hard-to-believe" methods seen in modern escape or heist films.
The tension in the last 20 or so minutes is fantastic, and doesn't rely on big action sequences or set pieces, just great camera and sound work, along with excellent pacing.
